Ep. 53 Indescribable Grace | Brandon Block

This week at Zion, as we take communion we remember the indescribable grace that was bought by Jesus Christ. In the book of Acts, Paul and Barnabas speak to the Gentiles after their message of salvation is rejected by the Jews. In Acts 13:47 it says, "‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth." This is God's commandment to Paul and Barnabas as they spread the message of salvation, but it contradicts everything that the Jews have taught throughout history. In the Jew's rejection of grace, they miss out on God's salvation entirely and Paul and Barnabas are persecuted.

Did you know that God also wants you to receive this message of salvation?  In this episode, Pastor Brandon Block teaches us about the grace that we all don't deserve. Throughout all of Biblical history and the lineage of the Jews, God sent his one and only son so that we could also be His chosen people. If you're listening to this episode, feel free to take communion as we learn more about God's indescribable grace. . .
